Country No. 1 - Herbst 2001 in New York en Pelisplus. Twenty years after September 11, 2001, ‘Country No. 1’ takes us on a journey back to the fall of 2001, when the official history had not yet been written. Filmed shortly after September 11, the movie shows New York from a different perspective than the then-ubiquitous television images. It testifies to how ‘ordinary’ New Yorkers were affected and how they created their own narratives to cope with the situation individually.
